		<description><![CDATA[FRROOGGYY!  Call and he will come &#8211; and he did!  Forty-four kids and adults enjoyed listening to Johathan London&#8217;s &#8220;Froggy&#8221; stories read by Sara McFarland, Southwest Kansas Library System Consultant. And then&#8230; HE came! Froggy greeted the children and posed for pictures with everyone! Thanks Sara and Froggy!

		<title>&#8220;Splish Splash! Squish Squash!</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Is it “splish splash” or “squish squash”?  The third and fourth grade summer readers can certainly tell you!
 The kids created underwater sand dioramas, painted colorful sun-catcher ‘flip-flop’ picture frames (girls) and ‘fish’ thermometers (boys).  They also made individual tropical island snacks (pudding cup with cookie crumb sand and decorated with a shark, fish and beach umbrella).

		<title>High Sea Aventure with Pirates &amp; Mermaids</title>
		<description><![CDATA[First &#38; Second Grade Summer Readers went on a high sea adventure today!  As they arrived at Nessy Island, they received a tropical lei.  They created colorful pirate or mermaid sand art pictures.  Assembled their own South Island treat with a pudding cup, cookie crumb sand and topped with a &#8220;Jolly Roger&#8221; flag and gummy shark.

		<description><![CDATA[&#8220;Froggy&#8221; comes to entertain the Ness City Public Library Summer Reading kids on Wednesday, July 14th.  The character, Froggy, is from the children&#8217;s books written by Jonathan London and illustrated by Frank Remkiewicz.
